Ribbon as a Wall Border

This is the perfect way to add pizazz to a room for just a few dollars. We painted a wall a refreshing see green color. (Color in picture shown doens't do it justice).
How to do it...
1. Decide how high up you want your ribbon border. We like it about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom of the wall.
2. Take a ruler and measure from the floor to the height on the wall you want your ribbon border. Make a little pencil mark on the wall at the desired height.
3. Continue step 2 all the way around the room. So, you will end up with little marks a few feet apart, all the way around the room.
4. Using thumbtacks, straight pins, or staples, attach the ribbon to the wall lining it up with the pencil marks on the wall.
This can be done on one wall, or aroung the entire room. We used a stripped grosgrain ribbon that is about 2 inches wide.
